The monitoring of the project
The monitoring of the project will be entrusted to the Coordinating Committee.
The monitoring will cover two basic aspects such as scientific development and operational development of the project. Regarding scientific development, the Coordinating Committee will proceed on a quarterly basis to monitor the progress of the scientific activities of the research groups involved in the various thematic lines and their adherence with the overall strategic lines of the project. Every year a report will be prepared and made publicly available, edited by the Coordinating Committee, reviewed and verified by the Advisory Board, which will highlight the main results obtained during the development of activities in terms of publications, research projects activated at national and international level, patents and collaborations in national and international level directly connected to the project itself.
Regarding the operational development, the Coordinating Committee will assess every six months the needs of the research groups involved on the various thematic lines and it will provide for the allocation of resources in the different areas in line with the scientific objectives of the project. Finally, two moments open to everybody can be envisaged, in the form of workshops, in the middle and at the end of the project in which to present the main results achieved and discuss the future sustainable development of the research lines of the project.
